Fastday: Monday
Mondays are perfect for fasting, especially with this plan. You’ll learn why a bit later on in this article. But this is also the busiest day of the week, which is a perfect distraction from the fact that you are fasting.
Eating a hearty breakfast of eggs and breakfast meats is a great way to blunt your appetite and give you plenty of energy for the day.
Breakfast: Hearty breakfast of eggs and/or breakfast meats
The rest of the day: clear liquids with no calories (coffee, tea, diet soda, sparkling water, broth)
Fat-Burn Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
These are the days to burn fat using the power of vegetables. Vegetables have the added benefit of being highly detoxifying, especially when eaten for breakfast.
Don’t skimp on full fat dressing like Ranch or our Sweet Garlic Butter sauce for your veggies. The fat will help you stay full and in fat-burning mode for this rapid weight loss plan. Fat will also help you better absorb the fat-soluble vitamins in your vegetables.
Breakfast: 2 cups of non-starchy veggies
Lunch: 1 4-6 ounce meat entree + 1 serving of non-starchy veggies
Dinner: 2 cups of non-starchy veggies

With the week behind you, the strategy here is to fill up on a healthy breakfast and lunch.
Dinner is your call! It can be a healthy PTF-approved meal following our Healthy Weight Loss Guidelines or you can cut loose a little.
The only rule is to keep it sane; understand that this is not a license to GORGE yourself, silly.
Breakfast: 2 cups of non-starchy veggies
Lunch: 1 4-6 ounce meat entree + 1 cup of non-starchy veggies
Dinner: Have a sane meal of your choice OR continue eating along PTF Guidelines.
Fundays: Saturday, Sunday
Summer weekends are for one thing: to soak up every moment of fun in the sun.
And this rapid weight loss plan will let you savor those moments. Go on, have a picnic on the beach, splurge on some ice cream after a hike, or have a chill cocktail on the roof-top.
Like I mentioned above, just keep these indulgences reasonable!
Start your day with a satisfying breakfast of protein and healthy fat. This will fill you up and keep your appetite in check for the rest of the day. Eggs prepared any way or our PTF breakfast entrees are a perfect for this.

Lunch: 4-6 ounces meat entree and 1 cup non-starchy vegges or a reasonable meal of your choice

…And Back to Monday!
Follow the same routine as when you started this week. Fasting will reset your system from the weekend.
Breakfast: Eggs, and/or breakfast meat or 1 serving PTF breakfast entree
The rest of the day: clear liquids with no calories (coffee, tea, diet soda, sparkling water, broth)
TIP You could eat this way through the entire summer, or for maintenance. Just rinse and repeat this weekly plan.
Fine-Tuning this Rapid Weight Loss Plan
If you find that you aren’t maintaining as well as you like, it’s probably a sign that you are over-indulging Friday through Sunday.
TIP Your favorite jeans will let you know if you have overdone it– or not.
If your jeans are fitting snug, add more PTF-friendly meals between Friday and Sunday evening.
Keep narrowing down the number of meals you indulge in until you strike the right balance for your jeans and lifestyle.
TIP Be sure to take a close look at any snacks, meals out, and alcohol that may be adding more weight than necessary over the weekends.
It is possible to lose weight while doing this plan. If you don’t want to lose more weight, just replace your Monday fast with the same meal structure as Tuesday through Thursday.

Daily Details
There are no snacks with this rapid weight loss plan; your prime days will be much more powerful without constantly eating. If you do get hungry between meals, you probably aren’t drinking enough water, so get on top of that!
For best results, aim for at least 3 liters of water a day– EVERY DAY of the week.
And of course, this strategy assumes that you are getting at least 20-minutes of walking in EVERY DAY as well. You can walk anywhere, any time, so there are no excuses!
