It’s time for a New Year! Out with the old! In with the new!
Let’s make that list. Maybe your are the person who likes to take their time to sit down and truly reflect on life with a hand written the list. Or maybe you prefer to make a mental check-off list.
Either way, we all want to start the New Year with that clean slate. Making a list can help us to make changes for the better, and there are lots of great resolutions we can have such as:
Be kinder.
Quit smoking.
Read more books… actual books.
Spend less time staring at your phone, spend more time truly interacting with family.
Of course, there is that ever-present go to the gym, eat right, lose weight and just be healthier. We think this is a great resolution, but what if this year (instead of this being the 4th, 6th, or maybe even 10th year in a row) you just knew this was your year? What if you could change this part of your life– once and for all?
Here are some simple steps to get you on a roll for a NEW YOU:
Workout
If you don’t know where to start, just walk. Walk the long way to the bathroom at work, park your car further away from the entrance at the store, take the stairs instead of the elevator, just be sure to get in at least 20 minutes of walking per day. All of these little changes definitely impact your health. You don’t need the latest workout clothes or fancy shoes. Just start walking!
Eat Healthy
This is usually the hardest change people make to try and lose weight. But if you are reading this, you have probably already taken the leap by changing your eating habits by ordering Personal Trainer Food. Struggling? Lose Weight
By following # 2 and # 3, you will succeed! The real secret is just to eat right and walk. Every. Single. Day. Consistency will pay off over the long run. Sure, it can sound a little boring but that is exactly how you should lose weight. Would you rather it was an EPIC battle that you could tell dramatic stories about at dinner parties? Didn’t think so. There are far more important things to focus on. Put weight loss on autopilot and get on with the rest of your resolutions for the year!
Enjoy more life
Make a list of things new things you want to try or experience…and get that pen ready to start checking things off! When the weight starts coming off, it is amazing how much confidence you gain and how much more willing you will be to really embrace life!
Make this YOUR YEAR!
