We told you we were going to share real results from real people doing our Walk the Walk Challenge.
We also talked about 5 participants who were determined to see if they could lose 10 to 20 pounds in two weeks. That’s pretty fast!
Let’s talk to these people to find out if they were able to do it. We’ll share what they have learned with you, and show you their actual results!
Rhett, Cold Storage Representative, lost 14 pounds in two weeks.
I made it a competition for myself; the harder I put my mind on something the easier it becomes. I fasted for 36 hours, and I am fasting once a week thereafter.”
Being a competitive person, Rhett got after his goal by adding in a weekly fast. This is an effective strategy you can try that works with your body, not against it. Our bodies did not originally evolve to be fed three square meals every few hours.
Niki, Lead Weight Loss Coach, lost 10 pounds in two weeks.
My favorite motivational quote that keeps me on track is ‘This is your life…are you who you want to be?’” What is your favorite quote?
Niki’s sunny disposition has her focusing on the positive. By having a favorite quote or mantra to focus on, you can drown out any negative thoughts that come up as well as the negative noise of the media, so-called experts or friends who doubt you can reach your goals.
Frank, Operations Director, lost 19.3 pounds in two weeks.
Cutting out all breads and sugars was rough for a couple of days, but now I do not even think about them… I just knew that I was losing weight for the first time in years.”
Frank is a no-nonsense kind of guy (we love no-nonsense here at Personal Trainer Food) and gets straight down to business without questioning the guidelines. Cutting out all the bad stuff so you can get great results right up front can go a long ways to keeping you on track.
Gunner, Customer Support, lost 16.4 pounds in two weeks.
Don’t get hung up on a number. Whether you lose 20 pounds or 5, your progress is undeniable–and the changes the scale can’t see are some of the best!”
Gunner has a very holistic view of weight loss. Keeping non-scale victories in mind such as having more energy, clearer skin, better digestion, fewer mood swings along with how your pants fit can give you the big picture view of your progress. You can read more about how Gunner did it here.
Jan, Customer Support Lead, lost 9.4 pounds in two weeks.
As someone who didn’t have much weight to lose (I started at 5’6″ and 148 pounds), I was shocked when I stepped on the scale at the end of week 2. I didn’t quiiiiite make 10 pounds, but losing 9.4 pounds is close enough! I am using REV; it is a very powerful meal plan, and I have a ton of energy.”
REV is a fantastic plan to help you shed excess fat quickly, whether you have a little or a lot of weight to lose. Jan is in her 40s, a time when many find that their metabolism starts to slow down, and their weight begins to climb year over year. REV is a natural choice to keep the metabolism high and the weight off.
We also have others doing the Walk the Walk Challenge who are losing weight, but at a slower, steadier rate. How do they feel about their progress?
Let’s talk with Maria… but first, check out this photo:
Maria, Customer Support, lost 4.2 pounds in two weeks.
Honestly speaking, it was discouraging to lose 4.2 pounds in two weeks. It is a good thing that I have been documenting my journey with photos. When I saw the physical changes in how my jeans fit, I realized that despite the number on the scale, I was still seeing real results! I love doing this Walk the Walk Challenge!”

Maria made a very smart move by taking photos before she started. You can definitely see how in two short weeks, Maria’s waistline has changed.
Many people skip taking a before photo because it is hard to do when we aren’t looking or feeling our best. At the very least, even if you are mid-progress take a quick photo and hide it away to peek at later on.
Here’s a funny little secret that all our Weight Loss Coaches know from helping thousands of people like you lose weight: if you are sticking to the program and the scale isn’t moving, you are most likely losing inches.
Strangely, inches lost don’t always translate to scale weight lost! People who lose big on the scale frequently have smaller losses in inches on their body. This is why taking a picture can be a big help to stay on track!
What if you are truly struggling on your weight loss journey?
Maybe you have hormonal issues, a stressful job, you are prone to binge-eating, or have a busy family life… We have people doing Walk the Walk who are experiencing the same things. Next week, we will update you with their progress, tips and tricks that you can use to overcome roadblocks in your journey!
P.S. If you can’t until next week for advice, call one of our Weight Loss Coaches today! They are all Walking the Walk and can help you reach your goals. 1-800-273-1686 x4 or email us at [email protected]
